After months of absence from "Showbiz News Ngayon," Kris Aquino is resuming her hosting chores on the show on Monday. Kris told SNN: "Balik na ako sa May 17. Thank you Mariel, Toni and Bianca pero aagawin ko na ulit ang trono ko (laughs)."
Kris said the one thing she learned from all the hardships she went through while campaigning is this: "It's not enough to be popular. Ang dami kong kailangang matutunan bago maglingkod sa bayan. Kung dito [sa showbiz] reyna ako, sa pulitika hindi," she said.

Lucy not backing out from showbiz
Her election as congresswoman of the 4th District of Leyte won't stand in the way of Lucy Torres-Gomez's TV career. Lucy says she's not turning her back on showbiz. "I hope I can do my job as a congresswoman without compromising my work in showbiz." Lucy is seen on TV5 and Q11 as host.

The Songbird is just so excited to welcome Rochelle on the show. She told "24 Oras," "The good thing about this [show] is merong mga kontrabida na siya namang nagbibigay ng kulay sa heroine [Sam] natin and yet di sila ganoon ka-bad kasi, funny eh."
Rochelle has already started taping scenes for the show.
