Kris returns to SNN on May 17

MANILA, Philippines - Queen of All Media Kris Aquino will be back as host of ABS-CBN's nightly entertainment gossip show "SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon" on May 17.

In an interview with "SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon," Kris, who has been very busy campaigning for her brother, presidential front runner Benigno "Noynoy " Aquino III, said she'll have to go back to work soon.

She also extended her appreciation to Bianca Gonzales, Mariel Rodriguez and Toni Gonzaga for temporarily co-hosting the show in her absence.

"SNN, see you May 17. Toni, Mariel and Bianca, you've done a wonderful job pero binabawi ko na," Kris quipped.

Last February, at the start of the presidential campaign, Kris posted a message on her Twitter account: "Wanted you to hear it from me. I'm taking a leave of absence from SNN until elections."

She said her "bathroom fall proved to me I just can't handle a schedule as full as mine. I'll be missing you nightly, but I hope it's really just for 2 months."

Aquino is juggling various showbiz commitments, including the daily drama series "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo," where she also took a leave, the weekly entertainment show "The Buzz", and the popular talent search "Pilipinas Got Talent."

Aquino was rushed to hospital last February 19 after she slipped and hit her head while taking a shower.

After several tests, Kris's doctors gave her permission to leave the hospital last February 22 and was advised to take a rest.

As of posting time, Kris was in Bulacan to campaign for her brother.

In her latest post in her Twitter page, Kris said she's going to Bulacan with various stars for the last day of campaign.

"itsmekrisaquino ‎​On my way to Bulacan, Valenzuela, Quezon Memorial Circle then Taguig! Last full day of campaign for me. Thank u God!," Kris said.
