Kris Aquino now ready to do kissing scenes

MANILA, Philippines - Queen of All Media Kris Aquino is now comfortable doing kissing scenes.

The television host-actress noted that it is easier for an actress to fulfill her job if she is not in a relationship.

She explained that there's no more reason to worry about someone else's feelings if she is unattached.

"Napag-usapan namin iyon ni Diet na sabi ko it's much easier to fulfill your duties as an actress and be true to the character if you're not in a relationship. Kasi wala kang iniilagan. Wala kang kinatatakutan na, 'Naku baka mag-away kami pag-uwi ko, baka ganyan.' So nagagawa mo talaga kung ano iyong required sa role," Aquino said, referring to her "Dalaw" leading man Diether Ocampo.

In their first horror flick together, Aquino revealed on Twitter that she and Ocampo had a kissing scene.

It would be recalled that Aquino refused to do kissing scenes in her previous films for the sake of her marriage. She already filed a petition to nullify her 5-year marriage to James Yap.

"If you really want to act, kailangan 'yong ka-relationship mo is either in the business whether an actor or a director. Hindi ba? 'Yong ganoon. Para maintindihan na trabaho nga ito," she stated.

Yap is a professional basketball player.

Meanwhile, Aquino divulged that she is doing all her best to make "Dalaw" a high quality movie. She also confessed there is an added pressure because her 2 previous horror movies, "Feng Shui" and "Sukob," did well at the box office.

"Nakakanerbyos kasi kung tutuusin, in 2 months MMFF (Metro Manila Film Festival) na. It's a big privileged to be a part of that. Excited po kaming lahat, may lalim talaga 'yong kwento. At the heart of it all, kwento pa rin tungkol sa pamilya at kung ano ang handa mong ibigay para sa taong minamahal mo at kung paano mo kailangan pagbayaran ang mga naging kasalanan mo," the actress shared. -Showbiz News Ngayon
